Laly at Byblos Hotel

Brief

Luxoria Interiors recently completed the renovation of Laly Boutique, located within the iconic Hôtel Byblos in Saint-Tropez. Formerly an art gallery, the space was reimagined as a refined resort-wear boutique, designed to complement both its prestigious setting and the effortless sophistication of Saint-Tropez itself.
Designing within Byblos naturally called for an understanding of the hotel’s distinct identity. Long established as one of the Riviera’s most recognised destinations, Hôtel Byblos balances Provençal character with an enduring sense of style. Luxoria Interiors drew from this atmosphere, creating a boutique that feels connected to its surroundings while introducing a fresh, contemporary retail experience.

The design was also shaped by the wider spirit of Saint-Tropez—its warm palette, relaxed glamour, and international clientele. Inspired by the women who return to the Riviera season after season, the space reflects a sense of understated elegance rather than excess. This approach informed a boutique that feels polished yet approachable, capturing the ease associated with luxury summer living on the Côte d’Azur.
Equally important was the boutique’s resort-wear offering itself. The collections influenced both the tone and materiality of the interior, resulting in a space that feels light, feminine, and carefully curated. Rather than competing with the fashion, the design was intended to frame it—allowing texture, colour, and silhouette to take centre stage.
Matte brass accents feature throughout the boutique, from clothing rails to display fixtures and the till point, adding warmth and subtle definition. Ochre wallcoverings reference the tones of Saint-Tropez’s old town, while sisal textures woven throughout the displays and feature walls introduce a natural, tactile quality. These layered materials are balanced by understated travertine flooring and soft white finishes, creating a clean architectural foundation that feels both timeless and distinctly Mediterranean.

The result is a boutique that feels considered and location-specific—one that respects the legacy of Hôtel Byblos while offering a fresh interpretation of contemporary Riviera retail. Through Laly Boutique, Luxoria Interiors has created a space that reflects Saint-Tropez at its best: elegant, relaxed, and quietly confident.
