Pied-à-terre, Old Town Nice

Project; Interior Design French Riviera. In the heart of Nice’s bustling Old Town, we designed a Pied-à-terre for our international client. An imperative element of the redesign was to respect the history of the building. The structure dates back to the 18th century and is situated the historic centre of the region.

Chevron parquet flooring, rich velvets, details in gold and brass, coupled with the imperial blue carpentry create an elegant and sophisticated ambience.

Key element of the apartment to note are the following. Firstly, the four meters high ceiling in the living area. Secondly, the decorative fireplace lavishly covered with a cork and gold wall-cover. Finally, the railing of the staircase. This leads to the mezzanine. The railing was inspired by the Art-Deco architectural heritage of the city.
