Located within a distinguished 1930s building in the heart of Nice, the Verdun project is a complete renovation that carefully balances the character of the existing architecture with a contemporary approach to living.

Rather than replacing the building’s identity, our design builds upon it. Original proportions and architectural details provide the framework for a series of calm, considered interiors where craftsmanship and materiality take precedence.

Throughout the apartment, rich walnut joinery is paired with expressive natural stone, soft marble and warm metallic accents to create spaces that feel both timeless and contemporary. Clean architectural lines are softened through carefully selected textures, while bespoke cabinetry and integrated detailing ensure every element has a purpose.

The kitchen has been designed as a sculptural centrepiece, combining elegant curved forms with concealed storage and custom display cabinetry. In the bathrooms, dramatic veined stone is complemented by fluted glass and brushed metal finishes, creating a sense of privacy without sacrificing light. Bedrooms remain restrained and comfortable, with bespoke joinery and a muted palette allowing the architecture to take the lead.

One of the defining aspects of the project is the complete transformation of the rooftop. Reimagined as an outdoor living space, it will extend the apartment beyond its interior walls while respecting the architectural character of the building and its surrounding context.

Currently under construction, Verdun reflects our approach to renovation: preserving what gives a property its identity while introducing contemporary craftsmanship, thoughtful detailing and materials that will endure for decades.
